01 Chairman’s message
An enterprise this size earns the right to exist twice: once from its customers, and once from the country it operates in.
Our companies were built in different decades, in different industries, by people who mostly did not know each other. What they share is a way of working — conservative with money, uncompromising on delivery, and unwilling to solve a problem by cutting a corner that someone downstream will pay for.
My role, and the board’s, is to protect that. Growth is easy to buy and hard to keep. We would rather keep it.

External statutory audit supported by an internal audit function reporting independently of company management.

Operational, financial, regulatory and environmental risk tracked centrally with named owners and review dates.

Delegated authority
Written limits on spend, borrowing, hiring and contracting at each management tier, reviewed annually.

Code of conduct
Anti-bribery, conflict-of-interest and procurement rules applying to directors, staff and contracted suppliers alike.

Whistleblowing
A confidential reporting route that bypasses company management and reaches the board directly.
